Treatment
I will always assess you first. IV fluids or antibiotics are only given if they are medically appropriate for your condition. My goal is to listen, examine, and then decide together what you actually need.
Telephone Advice
I should not give medical advice over the phone. Please book a visit if you woud like to be seen. A brief call to arrange a visit is fine, but I should not diagnose or advise by phone.
Prescribing
I prescribe carefully and responsibly. For most patients, strong painkillers or sedatives are not the right answer. In rare cases where they are truly needed, I may need to speak with your NHS GP or specialist first. This is for your safety and to follow UK prescribing laws. Please understand that I am not the right doctor if you are only seeking these types of medications.
